You know you should sleep. Knowing hasn’t worked.
Night Edge is built for the people generic sleep advice keeps failing — founders, parents, creators, and anyone whose nights are the only hours that belong to them. It does not ask you to give that up.
Before you read another word — why do you really stay up late?
Your night archetype
Get the guide — $37 →The reason nothing has worked
Every sleep tip assumes you want to stop.
Dim the lights. Put the phone away. Try a bedtime routine. You have read all of it, and some of it you have even tried. None of it stuck, and the usual explanation is that you lack discipline.
That explanation is wrong, and it is measurably wrong. Researchers studying this behaviour found that people who delay sleep with no external reason are not failing at self-control. They are compensating. When a day is consumed by obligations that belong to other people, the mind goes looking for hours that belong to nobody else — and it finds them after midnight.
Which means the advice has been aimed at the wrong target the whole time. You do not have a sleep problem. You have a competing desires problem — six legitimate things pulling at the same unstructured evening, none of them bounded. Night Edge treats it that way.
What’s inside
Seven chapters. One working system.
Read straight through in under an hour, or go directly to the chapter that matches your archetype. The last chapter is the one you actually run.
The neuroscience of why driven people resist sleep — scarcity, dopamine, and the identity layer nobody addresses.
The five archetypes, with the behaviours and failure pattern that belong to each. Most people are two of them.
What late nights cost in decision quality, cognitive throughput, emotional bandwidth, and immune resilience.
The core model. Six desires, each given a bounded window, so none of them quietly eats the whole evening.
Brain dump, three wins, tomorrow’s first move — twenty minutes that give the mind genuine closure.
Five different wind-down sequences, one per archetype. Not a single routine you have to force yourself into.
Three phases, one new layer per week, a named action for every day. This is the part you run.
Chapter 02
Five reasons people stay up. Five different fixes.
A wind-down routine designed for someone else will not work for you. The guide gives each archetype its own stack.
The Midnight Builder
“I’ll just finish this one thing.”
Work expands to fill every hour. Stopping before the task is done feels like failure, so it never gets done.
The Curious Devourer
“I just need to understand this one more thing.”
Every article leads to three more. Curiosity has no natural endpoint, and the internet is infinite.
The Solitude Seeker
“It’s the only time the house is quiet.”
All day in service of others. Alone time is not laziness — it is oxygen, and midnight is when it finally arrives.
The Connected Nurturer
“A little more time with the people I love.”
Evenings are the only hours that feel relational. Sleep ends the one part of the day that wasn’t transactional.
The FOMO Accumulator
“What if I miss something important?”
The world doesn’t pause. Stopping feels like falling behind in a race that has no finish line.

This isn’t your problem
- You want to sleep but physically cannot — that is insomnia, and it needs a clinician

- Shift work or a newborn is setting your schedule, not you

I would rather back the system than sell you something you skim once and forget.
Questions
Before you decide.
Is this just another “go to bed earlier” guide?
No, and it argues directly against that framing. Night Edge starts from the position that your late nights are meeting a real need, and that removing them without replacing that need is why every previous attempt collapsed. The system restructures the evening so the need is met on schedule, earlier.
How long does it take to read?
Under an hour cover to cover. You can also skip to Chapter 02, find your archetype, then go straight to your stack in Chapter 06 — about fifteen minutes to something you can run the same night.
What format is it, and can I read it on my phone?
A single PDF, 20 pages, A4. The type was set a point larger specifically for phone reading, since most people will open it in bed. It works on any device that opens a PDF.
I have real insomnia. Will this help?
Probably not, and it would be dishonest to say otherwise. This guide is for people who could sleep and choose not to. If you get into bed and cannot fall asleep, that is a different problem and it deserves a clinician rather than a guide.
What is the Night Edge Dashboard I keep seeing?
The companion Notion workspace — the archetype quiz, evening brain dump, competing-desires planner, and 21-day tracker, all built and ready to duplicate. It is catalogue no. 002 and is in production. Buyers of the guide get told first when it ships.
What is your refund policy?
The 21-Day Guarantee. Work through the reset in Chapter 7, and if you complete it and your nights have not changed, email me your tracker and I will refund you in full. I ask for the tracker because this is a system that only works if it is run — and because a file, once downloaded, cannot be returned. If you are in a region with a statutory right of withdrawal on digital purchases, that right still applies and I will honour it.
Why is it $37?
$37 is the launch price and it rises to $57 once the Dashboard is released. The guide is priced as a tool rather than an impulse buy, because the people it is written for tend to distrust anything that looks disposable.
